SDC Speech and Communications

Welcome to SDC Speech and Communications! This course will cover 7 total topics:
  1. Elements of Communication
  2. Active Listening 
  3. Verbal and Nonverbal Communication
  4. Interpersonal Communication
  5. Intercultural Communication
  6. Group Communication
  7. Public Speaking
Each week students will be expected to practice giving a speech in front of their classmates and starting in January students will begin working on their persuasive speech for the dual credit exam. 
 
This will be a great year and looking forward to this wonderful class!
