"BE IN THE ZONE"
Holloway High School partnered with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in a year-long campaign teen driving campaign called “Be In The Zone .” The goal of the BITZ Campaign is to reduce distracted driving. The campaign is sponsored by Ford Motor Company Fund and Pilot Company.
Students have made posters to hang in the school and at Patterson Park Community Center. Other activities to increase awareness that Holloway students participated in are BITZ t-shirt tie-dye project, social-media post challenge, morning announcements, presenting to an elementary school, and announcing through local radio.
