Welcome to Mrs. Welker's Art Classes!
Welcome! I am excited to be at Holloway this year and cannot wait to see what we accomplish in the art room this year. Art I and II are both semester long classes filled with projects and activities designed to improve critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Both classes center around the four strands of visual arts standards: create, respond, present, and connect. Students will learn to utilize the elements and principles of art, learn to discuss, critique, and express their opinions about art, as well as expand their knowledge of art history.
