Chapter 2 Work

1a. Review corrections of errors on study guide for exam 1 and take test over chapter 1 and on states of matter by 9/4.
 
1b. Start covering Chapter 2 Section 1 on Wednesday, 9/4, number and highlight new terms with their definitions plus label remaining grey steps on Metric Conversion Table with powers of 10 and matching standard numbers by 9/5.  Do Chapter 2 Practice #1 by 9/5 and #2-6 plus Metric Symbols worksheet by 9/6.
 
2a.  Start covering Chapter 2 Section 2 Slides on Thursday, 9/9, mark objectives, number and highlight new terms with their definitions and do Chapter 2 Practice # 7-11.
 
2b. Play Kahoot! on Measurements at the following link with the given access code: https://kahoot.it/challenge/03709739?challenge-id=d1c4d04d-6d06-4cfa-8e7b-b7e4dbeb9489_1725394821139 by 9/6.
 
 
3. Use Chapter 2 Sections 3 Slides or pages in textbook to do sections 3 of the Chapter 2 Study Guide by 9/10, for extra credit.  If you do not have a hard copy of the guide, open Chapter 2 SG.doc from uploaded files and write titles of sections on the worksheets with answers on notebook paper.
 
4. Discuss/improve answers to Chapter 2 Practice #12-21 by 9/10. 
 
5) Do Chapter 2 Practice #22-24 by 9/11.
 
6) Do #25 of Chapter 2 Practice worksheet by 9/12. Show units on values, correct significant digits and full math work for #22-25.
 
7) Cover Chapter 2 sections 4 Slides, do #1-4 on section 4 of study guide for chapter 2 and use internet to order steps of plotting a line graph in #5-11 of section 4 of study guide for chapter 2 by 9/12.
 
8) Get packet of content and work for chapter 3 of Chemistry Matter and Change on Friday, 9/13, number and highlight 9 new terms for section 1, label essential questions and matching slides for section 1 of chapter 3.
 
9) Get study guide for benchmark exam #2 on 9/13.
