September is College App Month in Tennessee! 🎓
September is College App Month in Tennessee! 🎓 Holloway Hawks, get ready for Why Apply Week, September 14–18! Join the fun by participating in our dress-up days throughout the week as we celebrate college, careers, and all the possibilities ahead.

⭐ Friday, September 18 is officially WHY APPLY DAY! Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite college gear—T-shirts, hats, pins, and more—and share why they believe students should apply to college or why college may be part of their own future plans.

📸 We want our students to participate, too! Take a photo or short video sharing your answer to “Why Apply?”, create a sign with your reason, or simply share your thoughts. Posts can be shared using #WhyApply and #TNCollegeAppMonth. WHYAPPLY_2026

Whether college is already part of your plan or you're just beginning to explore what comes next, this is a chance to dream, ask questions, and discover your options.

💙 Dream big. Explore your future. Your next chapter starts here.

Huge community turnout for the Back to School Bash at Holloway High School Saturday. The event featured a legacy candle ceremony representing the past, present and future. There were also several performances by local dance groups, 1,200 backpacks and supplies were given out, and there were other giveaways for the community including diapers and food. It was wonderful seeing the entire Holloway community come together to launch a new school year.

Holloway is still accepting enrollments for the 2026-2027 school year. More information is available at hhs.rcschools.net.
