Spanish Club

I  would like to extend a warm welcome to all students of Holloway High School to the Spanish Club. You do not need to be studying the Spanish language to be a member of the Club, but I guarantee that I will broaden opportunities to experience the Spanish language and culture if you participate in our club activities.

• ¿Cuándo? We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month . However, this may vary depending on the activity planned.
• ¿Dónde? In the Foreign Language Department, Room 500
• ¿Las patrocinadoras? Sponsor Senora Martinez.
• ¿Qué hacemos?– We have a great time when we:
  • Share knowledge and experiences about countries where Spanish is spoken.
  • Learn to prepare dishes that are typical to Spanish speaking countries.
  • Participate in community service activities.
  • Try our hands at making traditional craft such as molas and piñatas.
  • Dance to salsa, merengue, cumbia and bachata  at end of Semester fiestas.
  • Enjoy movies in target language.
  • Go on trips that will strengthen knowledge of our Spanish influenced heritage in Florida.
