Jayce creating the replacement puzzle pieces.
Jaycie created two replacement puzzle pieces complete with image to replace the missing ones. She used mathimatical skills to size the image, printed it on the poster printer, cut out the images & puzzles pieces, and glued them together to complete the puzzle! The picture below is the finished piece.
Nikito holding his military quilt poster
Recently in the library excel class, students were asked to create a quilt poster representing a topic of interest. Pictured above Nikito holds the finished quilt poster which was based upon military camoflages used in the different wars and branches. Nikito digitally designed the quilt, used sublimation printing and the Cricut heat press vinyl to produce the squares. The quilt was sewn together using the traditional quilting process.

Mobile Book Library

Breaking News!!! I would like to introduce an exciting new program with the launch of Holloway's Mobile Book Library for Holloway students.  If you would like to check out books, search Destiny (card catalog) for the book and its availability. Then send me an email to [email protected] with the call number(s) and book title(s). Then decide if you want them delivered to your doorstep or if you want to meet me at the school.  Next, when you are ready for another book or want to return what you have, send me another email.
Destiny is located on the Library Media Center and my personal web page as the Card Catalog.
