The Holloway High Media Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Mission Statement
The Holloway High Media Center will support and enhance the curriculum standards, and create a community of students who are information literate, lifelong learners, and avid readers.
Policies: Students:
- Students may check out two books at a time.
- Books are loaned for a two-week period with one renewal available.
- Students may visit the media center any time during regular hours, but must have a note or pass from their teacher during class time.
- No drinks or food are allowed in the media center.
- Computer usage is limited to scheduled assignments -- no games, personal e-mails, chat rooms, social networking, etc.
- Fines for overdue materials are 10 cents per school day.
- If materials are lost or damaged, you will be charged the price of replacing or repairing the materials.
- You must pay fines before reports cards will issued to you or before graduation.
Teachers:
- Please schedule class time as early as possible.Students must have a signed agenda or pass from teacher to visit media center during class time.
- Turn in books, videos and other media by the first of May for inventory.
