Psychology Dual Credit (Period 1)

Purpose:

The purpose of Psychology is to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students will also learn about ethics and methods used by psychologists. Students will utilize knowledge and demonstrate their understanding of concepts learned by conducting a variety of ethical experiments and research.
